I can say for sure that this was an intense mission trip, we had so many adventures and trials, Praise be to God that we all handled it with His help and the trip was such a wonderful blessing.
I will not repeat what we have already said in the previous post, rather give you an overview of what this trip meant to us.
I was so blessed to have my daughter with me again this year! she brought smiles to all our faces and enjoyed the trip just as much as the rest of us. She was a blessing to the children that we came in contacted with at each one of the tutorials that we https://www.facebook.com/MissingLinkMissions, she would share with them some of the things that she was learning in her homeschooling and new things that she had learned while we were there, her creativity and joyful attitude was to be desired by me at times when i was drained and tired of the heat and stress, she made so many new friends, she helped paint a mural on the streets as a found raiser for the community, she taught new songs to the children, she gave them stuffed toys from her personal collection, and much more, at the end she was just a blessing all around to me and to those she came in contact with.
As for me, i would like to give a shout out to all of you who help financially to found this years trip, without your help we could not have gone and been a blessing to the Filipino people. God has shown me that everywhere we go in this world people need help, it was such a blessing to be able to put in the new tutorial kits this year, the churches that received them were over joyed and full of gratitude to all of you for your support and love, we were able to prepare a dinner for them and give them there kits and the response that we got was unbelievable, we also had many come to us asking to be put on the list for next year! WOW! God prepares in advance… This ministry has been so effective, far more then we could have ever imagined.
My prayer is that this will boom more and more every year so that the church (God people) will increase far above what we could ever ask or imagine.
We were able to have some bible studies and saw strangers that we did not know, confess their sins, turn for their old ways, repent, and be baptized into our Lord Jesus Christ, and become our Sisters and Brothers… what a blessing that was, no longer strangers, but family!!! Praise be to our God!
Again i want to thank you and ask for your continual support in this mission effort.
Until we meet again,
Hope & Amelia Stringham
May the Lord bless you and keep you, may He lift His face upon you and give you peace.
